the past week has been glorious on many different notes. i've been trying harder to recognize life's daily blessings and be grateful for them. first bit of good news:
1. wes is cane free!!! he has been using a cane, one in each hand to move around anywhere for the last, oh, what seems like forever.(in reality about 6 weeks). But again, what seemed like an eternity.
2. paisley is recovering from R.S.V.(fingers crossed) she hasn't coughed up a lung yet and has been happy today so far, which makes my heart sing :)
3. i have not eaten any easter candy at ALL today... ok, so it's only 10 am, but nonetheless, i'm trying ;)
4. we've had our windows and doors open this ENTIRE week! i told wes that it smells like SPRING. what a beautiful fresh, clean, cool, and crisp smell spring brings. basically the best part about this is that WINTER should be behind us... let's hope. wes says my spirits are much more likeable when it's not 10 degrees outside :) i must say i wholeheartedly agree with him. can i really do 3 more winters here?... wait, we're working on positive thinking, ok, here we go, back on track. eh hem. anyway...
things truly are looking up folks, in case you wanted to know. and i am excited about it.

Hooray! I'm glad things are getting better for you guys. Are you gonna be able to come home for a little bit in the summer?

I had to laugh out loud about the Easter candy comment! I am so glad to hear about Wes and Paisley! I didn't even know she had R.S.V. Poor baby, that's no fun at all, for her or you. I hope they both continue on the road to complete healing!!! Keep enjoying your spring. We are already well on our way to summer . . . we skipped spring as usual. :)

ASH! I am so glad that things are getting better for you guys! You guys are awesome and deserve only the best! If Nebraska winters are anything like utah winters then I feel for you! Thankfully spring is here! Let me know if you are coming to Cali during the summer. I would love to see you!
My long but not lost friend, thank you for your sweet note. Paisley is adorable. Loving the up front and center tv action. so cute. It's gotto be so hard to be in the frigid winter. We miss you here in the blazing heat. And so does your tan.
Yay Wes!! No cane!! I'm so sorry for your little one, my Sam was taking breathing treatments every 3hours. Not fun when your kid can't breathe and you can't get any sleep:( And good job Ashley for not eating the candy...good self control:) ...I can't say the same about myself:)
