I was talking with my mom yesterday about my Grandma Norene; I wanted to know how she was doing these days. She'll be celebrating her 83rd birthday on THANKSGIVING this year!! She's AMAZING! My Grandma is a little disgruntled at the fact that immediately following HALLOWEEN, the stores are filled with Christmas goods...But what about Thanksgving?!... She always says (in her familiar, sweet yet worn out little Grandma Gunnell voice).. "The world just skips right over Thanksgiving". I personally am excited for Christmastime, but just for MY GRANDMA I wanted to post a few things I am grateful for at this time in my life...
Im grateful...
For a happy life
For a husband that makes me laugh and who works so hard
For my sweet little, naughty but nice baby girl Paisley
To be able to stay home with her (I'm learning that being a Mother is indeed a FULL TIME JOB)!
For wonderful parents and siblings, cousins, grandparents and aunts and uncles, and friends (both sides) who Love us and who we love right back!
For Heavenly Father and Jesus
For the gospel
For the life lessons I've had so far
For the people I look up to...some of which probably don't even know
For my health
For our freedom
For a nice place to live.
For Baby Einstein and Sesame Street... how do Moms take showers without this wonderful gift?!
For letters.. I love hearing from dear family who live far away. I miss my brother and I love receiving his precious letters
For friends that will always be friends no matter how long it's been since you've seen them :)
For laughter, it helps me forget any troubles
For "the office"
For what I am learning about who I am by living away in Nebraska.
For my "5 ingredients or less" cookbook!
Ben & Jerry's Ice-cream
This is not the end of my official list, but for this blog it will have to do for now.
HAPPY 83RD BIRTHDAY GRANDMA GUNNELL ! I LOVE YOU and Im grateful for YOU!

yAy and I am thankful for you!
Ashley! You are super wonderful! I am sad you live so far away, but I am glad for all of the good things it is bringing for you and Wes!
I miss your Grandma too! And I love you and am excited to see you at Christmas!
Such a Cute Post Ash! Also, I am still Laughing at the comment that you and Wes left me. What would I do without you guys.... Probably not laugh so much. :)
thats is a great list. i myself kind of skip over thanks giving because i have nothing to decorate my house with. so right now i already have christmas stuff up. i love it too because it adds so much color. lila was just asking today on the way to school when you guys were coming. i told her you and paisley would be here in two weeks. then lila and joel started sing about the two of you and how they missed you. it was so priceless. i hope i was right about the two weeks. do you know what day you will be here.
How cute is your grandma :) It's always good to remember all that we are blessed with. Thanksgiving is especially good for that. Unfortunately it always seems to fall at a really stressful time in school, so I'm always too busy to be thankful. Bad, I know...
Paisley's birthday looked like so much fun. She's so cute!!!
And, I'm so excited you're coming home for Christmas- we'll have to get together with all of the girls when you're here!!
I'm with your grandma on this one! I cannot stand how they go straight from Halloween to Christmas. I am a one holiday at a time kind of girl. As soon as Thanksgiving is over I'll start getting in the Christmas spirit. That was a great list. You are so awesome!
Awh, I know this is a late comment, but thats really cute! You're such a doll Ash!
