Gobble Gobble...

This was our First Thanksgiving away from home since we've been married... So it was different but we had a great time together. Our ward had a fantastic dinner at the church and a lot of people came. I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy it was :) (I was a little skeptical). Well this week, Wes hasn't stopped talking about making a HOMEMADE apple pie. My definition of a homemade pie is going to Wal-mart and buying a frozen pie and baking it in the oven... IM not even joking. BUT Wes convinced me that it would be fun to make a pie TOGETHER. SO at 9:00 pm, the night before Thanksgiving, I went to the store and got everything we needed! I got home and we started making the pie from scratch! Im so proud of us because it turned out so yummy! I think we're going to make it a tradition!

Props to you for making a delicious pie. You should ask Bup about the banana cream pie he attempted to make from scratch. Lets just say it ended up straight in the trash! At least he tried. That's more than I can say for myself. My idea of making a pie is bying one from Costco that I don't even need to bake. I suck!

I have a new blog since I can't get into my private one anymore.

Can't wait to see you at Christmas girl!
