goldfish. chloreen. flip flops. sonic. swim suits. beach towels. monsoons...(now tornados in NE). bbq's. fireworks. brightly painted toes. tan lines. Nebraska fireflies. sprinklers. sidewalk chalk. late nights. pony tails. my birthday. bare feet.
these words all remind me of SUMMER...
and summer reminds me of my favorite vacation of all time...
My family has been going to California's beaches since I can remember. It is my FAVORITE trip of all time. I was just thinking about it today and got a little sad because this is the first year in I don't know how long, that I won't be going... but it's ok, because baby C will be here. And there's always next year of course... :)

Oh how I do agree with you about those words and summer! Those are the best bits of summer by far. Tonight we are sitting in our apartment getting Marley ready for bed (7:30) and since it is light so late I'm seriously considering changing her bedtime to later so we can enjoy more of the day outside. Hmmm....we'll see.
PS - I LOVE THE BEACH!

Ohhhh A & W & lil P & sweet C.....I can hardly think about the beach without you guys there!!! It just won't be the same...we will have to have morning silence time to think aboutyou every day...LOL BUT next year will be grand!! I love summer too...lots of fun memories!!
