Cotton Candy or "Carnie"???

we saw both cotton candy AND "carnies"... the state fair ALWAYS has so much to OFFER :)

* * definition for the day :Carny or Carnie is a slang term for a carnival (funfair) employee, as well as the language they employ. A carny is anyone who runs a "joint" (booth), "grab joint" (food stand), game, or ride at a carnival.

i personally like the food... and make that FRIED :)... is there any other option at the fair? The answer is NO
The petting zoo... man look at those chompers !

Paisley loved the little piggy... it was even born the night before! oink oink

we probably wont go to the fair again because they are taking it out of Lincoln from here on out :( sad. At least we got our fill of " carnies " and twinkies and cotton candy :)

Here are our fun friends that we went with. leah LOVED the lumberjack show! I think it MADE her birthday :)
Thanks to Matt and his sweet camera, we have these great pictures for memories :)

looks like you had a blast. i love going to the fair. Sometimes it scares me a little with all the crazies, but it's fun. I think the last time we went to the fair, Dave got hypnotized. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. haha
