We just returned to Lincoln after spending a month in Mesa AZ. Our vacation was full of fun, food, family and friends! We celebrated Wes's 24th Birthday on which we were able to spend a night away in Phoenix. We ate at Rustler's Rooste and Wes says it was one of the HIGLIGHTS of his vacation, second only to the broadway hit, "The Lion King." (THANKS MOM AND DAD!)
One of MY highlights was watching Paisley on Christmas morning! Last year she was only a month old and sat in her carseat the whole day. In contrast, this year was exciting and entertaining to watch her discover the magic of Christmas morning! She, of course was spoiled by all who love and missed her! (especially her grandma's!)
It was wonderful to get away but it is nice to get back into a routine and to work on finishing the first year of law school :) First semester went fast(says Wes), and second semester should go even faster(ashley hopes, jk). Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year... We love you ALL!
