Mice are NOT THIS cute!!!!

Last week I was sitting at my table when all of a sudden, out of the littlest tiniest corner of my itty bitty eye, I SAW a MOUSE scurry across the bloody floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I was in such shock and couldn't even get out the littlest scream for help! I told Wes when I saw him and his only reply was " Honey, calm down it's just a mouse; you don't need to get all worked up!" Good hell, i will NOT calm down. Well, I did calm down temporarily until today that is. I was feeding Paisley her bottle on the couch when Gus Gus peeked his giant head, and beady little eyes out at me from under the ottoman. I let out a squeal and he ran under the couch!!!!!! AHHHHHHH. I was prompt in calling our leasing office here and asked them to come out asap!!! They will set the traps and even come dispose of them when necessary. Honestly, I know it's JUST a mouse as Wes might say, but Im finding a hard time relaxing around here. I'm constantly watching for Gus or Jack to come scampering around the corner. Every little rustle or noise I hear, I automatically assume its the mouse. Im just afraid that Im going to put on my shoe ,and there will be my enemy, hiding, and waiting for me!!!!!!! Circumstances might be different perhaps if these mice were as helpful as Gus Gus and Jack were to the lovely Cinderella. If they could help me with my chores and sweep the floors I would be most grateful. Sadly, they will not.

I can't believe you really have a mouse!! I am so sorry and I hope they catch him or her soon. And don't worry - I'd be freaking out too. In fact, I think this warrants at least 1 free months rent. :)

I love gus gus. He's so cute. But I would flip too, if I had a mouse in my house. I bet you're afraid to leave cute little paisley playing on the floor with that mouse running around. I hope he gets caught!

Ha ha... we must be on our blogs at the same time. Did you ever look up the corn maze site I gave you. I know, I've got to find one closer to us. I think that tomorrow JJ and I are going to go to the first corn maze that I found. We're going to go some time around 6 - 6:30. If you guys want to come you are more than welcome. It should be nice weather! If you can't come this time, then that's ok, but we do need to get together soon. Have a great weekend :)

That is awful! Mike and I had some mice that were some how getting into our garage and getting into our garbage when we moved in. We got it taken care of, but I was scared to go in the garage for like 2 months.

Did you try smoking him out? I hear they hate the smell of fried chicken!

Ok, so I don't feel quite so bad about doing the same thing a year ago while Kellan was at General Priesthood! Isn't it amazing how traumatizing a little mouse is?! Good luck catching it!

Just a Mouse? Men! Seriously Im surprised you can sleep at night. I would be sitting there in bed with a flashlight making sure it wasnt knawing on my big toe. Mice I do not do. I dont do insects either. They belong outside not in my house or your house. Good luck with Gus Gus. I think he should be named YUCK YUCK!

Mice are not fun! I get that same way with spiders. Adam came in to get a spider for me last night from the ceiling and knocked it to the floor and couldn't find it and had the "oh well" look on his lovely face. Let's just say I spent the next hour with my feet on the computer desk, because I was NOT putting them on the floor for the spider to get. The little monster is still MIA somewhere in the house! AHH!

Hey Ash! I just found your blog and wanted to drop you a little note! Jason and I were so sad to learn that you guys moved so quickly. We were always talking about how we needed to call you guys to go and do something. We're a little late with that so we'll do it when you guys come back around. ;) Good luck with everthing! Little Paisley is adorable!

That would totally creep me out!!! But I agree, it would be different if they were like gus gus and helped with chores :) Ha ha, if only. . .

Let's definitely get together when you come to AZ. Girls nights are always so much fun, and I have to see paisley again. She's gotten so much bigger since I saw her last!

How is Wes liking school? It sounds like he's been very dedicated in his studying :)

Hello Ashley! I'm just finding all my friends and adding them to my blog. You're in the circle! How do you like Nebraska? Mice drive me crazy. We have them here in Philly, too.

Oh my gosh! I truly know what you mean about always looking down, scared to see a mouse. We had mice in an apartment on the mission and I always felt the "heeby jeebies" walking around. Tell Wes I said to KILL THEM ALL!

Yeah we've have 2 mice in our house in the last week, but we caught them both on the same day! Now I'm hoping that the word got out and the rest of the mice are scared away. hehe Not likely, but I can hope right? haha By the way your little girl is SO cute!! And Jarom says hi :)

Holy crap! I would be at a hotel until the little monster was out of my house!!! You are a trooper. Good luck and you'll have to update us on any capture of the mouse. And we will be here for most of December. We are going to Pinetop for Christmas, but probably only for a few days so definitely call us so we can hang out. We miss you guys!
