Today, after much deliberation, We decided to get Paizers ears pierced! I used to think that taking Paisley to get her shots was painful, but
TODAY was a whole new level. She stared at me as the lady marked her ear with a face that seemed to say "momma i love you , i know you would never ever hurt me-
ESPECIALLY in the name of vanity. And then it happened. She pulled the trigger. And Paisley errupted. In the next instance everyone in the entire shop at Claires turned to see this terrible mother trying to console her
SCREAMING child. It was like when youre little and you hit youre younger sibling, and then you try to console them by saying "ok, you can hit me back". Except Paisley didnt even want to hit me back, she just wanted an explanation. Of course I had none. After another 30 seconds she was completely calm with sticky little purple fingers from the 3 grape suckers i shoved down her throat in attempt to make her happy. And then, she did the other ear.... and the circus started ALL over again. BUT it's all okay because she does look so
CUTE!!! Oh, the price we pay to be beautiful.

Ok I totally want to get Navi's ears pierced, but Travis will not let me. He thinks she will rip them out. What do you think. I she to old now?

Oh, so sad! I'm too much of a chicken to get Keelies ears pierced. And Joe doesn't really want me too. But I know I could talk him into it if I really wanted too! Paisley does look so cute though! Does she pull on them, or even notice they are there? Thats what scares me!

Poor kid! Why didn't they do them both at once?! She does look super cute, though...better to do it now than when she can really remember and be mad for longer! :)
You are so brave! I have to leave the store when I see moms get their babies ears pierced. But I think its so cute when they have them!! So I cant decide. I hated that my mom made me wait until I was 12 to get my ears pierced. She looks super cute. Grape suckers cure anything. She still loves you.
She looks adorable! I thought about getting Emily's ears pierced, but then I remembered how excited I was to turn 12 so I could get mine pierced. I hope she recovers well.
Oh, I am with Stacy. I wanted to pierce Graces ears when she was a newborn, but Spencer would have a COW if I did. Now I really want to do it, and I just think she will pull them out. Let me know if she tugs on them

Definitely worth the screaming - she looks so cute. Maybe I'll take you with me to pierce my little girls ears and you can console her. That way - everyone can think it's you again. ;) Just kidding. But we are so doing this next spring when my little girl is big enough.
